STATUS: This project is an a five –level office building, located in the junction of Daemi St. and Zartosh St. the The building is forbelongs to a company, that producing produces subsidiary sticks for computer and includes repairsmnt, sales and administrative sections. Start The start point to design was a quick glaceglance to at the surrounding urban context. That district off Tehran was formerly a residential area with one or two- level story house mostly built in the late modern architecture style. In the recent decades, some of them were demolished as though a new office building with five-level story appeared. The result was formation ofin a combination of office and old house. The first thing that we mostly consider most is the urban scale fluctuation in the height of old and new construction during these development,developments; therefore, we convicted ourselves to preserve the old house scale as if it is not easily approachable. the The first step to split the scale was, allocating the middle level to the sailing products level with complete glassed-façade that retreated from main façade as thought it resembles like a giant faultgap in the volume.bulk of bulk valume . The result is two cubes that are separated from each other, particularly the top one seems to be suspended on the below down one. The below down cube has a height ofis as high as the old house. The first and second levels were allocated to repairment repair and R&D units and the 4th and 5th 5th are were considered for administrative and financial units. Controlling the incoming light was the other point we had to concentrate on. nowadays Nowadays, it is very common to use mortar-based material on façade construction like stone and brick but we decided to enlist from dry-façade technologies. Besides, we designed the outer shad s from metal-sheet panels which opened and closed like accordion. This added the façade a the capability of varied configuration and could be controlled manually. All modules have the same width of 60 centimeters and the panels are ceramic and metal sheet penetrated with CNC machine. In this way we reach to a façade by the half weight in comparison with mortal-based one.
